This album is like an exotic trip through the Arabian desert, and reminiscent of the glory days Led Zeppelin.
Jimmy Page and Robert Plant, former guitarist and singer for Led Zeppelin, respectively, take the listener on a journey with the use of foreign musicians and instruments including Egyptian bamboo flutes, mandolins, and bodhrans.

Much of the music on "No Quarter" has a Middle-Eastern feel to it. Page and Plant enlist the help of the London Metropolitan Orchestra and an Egyptian ensemble to create the magnificent and dreamy sound of Middle-Eastern music mixed with Western rock. The result is fabulous.

What I am most blown away with is how different many of the songs sound. Some, such as "Thank You" and "Gallows Pole," are basically the same as the Zeppelin classics. Many, however, sound as if they went in for plastic surgery. My favorite example is the first song on the album, "Nobody's Fault But Mine." I always thought the original Led Zeppelin version was alright, but when I heard Page and Plant's version, I was pleasantly surprised. It is slower, more beautiful, and, in my opinion, better than the original.
Jimmy Page and Robert Plant's "No Quarter" captures the mystery, power and life of music it self.
"No Quarter" is a breath of fresh air in a world of recycled music.

Most ellenőriztem... A jelszó jó, működik. Próbáld meg újra letölteni, hátha megsérült a letöltés közben (van ilyen). Biztos, hogy pontosan írtad be a jelszót? Ha ez sem segít próbáld meg ezt:

Music from different countries and ethnicities be dramatically different. Latin music, for example, is known for its use of variety of percussion instruments including congas, claves, timbales & hand drums. This music, often used for dances, lively, very rhythmic, and often dramatic. Mexican music, on other had, often includes mariachi band which consists of guitar, bass, violin & horns such as trumpets.

any idea where are the Led Zeppelin now? I mean are they going to team up again and perhaps a reunion concert?

Szeretem a duett, különösen a címadó dal nagyon szép. annak ellenére, hogy játszanak másképp, mint a Led Zeppelin, még mindig tart a magas szintű.

Simulakra - 2nd EP

Simulakra makes middle eastern rock with balkan and latin influences. We have just independently released our second EP and would love if you'd have a listen!

https://soundcloud.com/simulakraband

After recording in Tel-Aviv on summer 2016 and having a concert release in Jerusalem on christmas, we're planning another european tour for the summer of 2017!!!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_IEKRf8oSc

Simulakra came to life in 2013, drawing from the members' shared love for all sorts of world music and fusing it with psychedelic rock and jazz. They've performed in festivals such as Musiq Maudite - Berlin Moabit, Tagtráumer - Laucha an der Unstrut, 24 hours - Neukölln Berlin and more. The new EP is a sum of our cultural experiences in Berlin and europe.
